To Our Readers:
Please accept our apologies. 2009 judicial candidate Eugene Sperazza did not give $10,000 to Judge Ciavarella's retention campaign. He only gave $1250. We erroneously read a $1000 contribution as $10,000. He did however give $10,000 to the Judge Conahan retention campaign.

what's a couple two three thousand between friends?
Dont forget Nanda Palissary, the candidate for County Controller, he gave several hundred dollars to the Retention of Civarella and Conahan.
First of all, Palissery did not give any money to Conahan. Secondly, we're not playing the who "gave a couple of bucks" to Conahan and Ciavarella game. It's the big bucks that count! I'm not troubled by a few hundred bucks to a judge's retention campaign. Palissery is a lawyer, so what if he and his wife attended a cocktail party for a judge. Remember Ciavarella sold out for millions of bucks, not hundreds.
If we're going to condemn Palissery and everyone else for giving money to Ciavarella, we should damn each and every person who even voted for either of them as well. No one supported them while knowing that they were doing what they plead guilty to.
Walter, your lack of ability to spell and use proper grammar are a dead giveaway. Palissery's name is spelled with an "e" not an "a." You made the same mistake in a letter on Gort42. Also, why capitalize "retention?" Is that all you have to attack him with? He's the frontrunner and you're scared. Grow up you singing mechanic.
Condemn me. I voted for both Conahan and Ciavarella twice a piece. I didn't know now what I knew then. If I did, I'd have to be an idiot to vote for them. When I voted for them, I thought they were honorable and upstanding men, as did the majority who voted back then.
